Kiymalı Pilavı

kiyma = meatloaf
pilav = rice turkey


Ingredients Kiymalı Pilavı:
rice
sauteed kiyma
water or chicken broth / meat
oil for sauteing
salt
sehriye (optional)
parsley (can be replaced with celery)
for comparison of rice and cooking water just like regular white rice. or sy like to wear the comparison like this:
1 cup of rice = 2 cups water (or slightly less)


How to cook Kiymalı Pilavı:
A. Soak rice in hot water and sprinkle with salt, wait until the rice becomes fluffy with a crisp white color marked
2. wash rice and drain
3. sehriye saute until golden brown discolored
4. input rice stir a few times
5. sprinkle with salt hot water input, except if using salted broth that has been sprinkled with salt does not need anymore. stir well until the water boils
6. reduce heat and wait until half cooked rice is characterized by water is not visible on the surface
7. sprinkle over the chopped meat sauteed pilav was mature, and also usually leaves sprinkled with chopped parsley or celery may be substituted.
